Group Fitness in 2008 is not the same Aerobics class that you or your mother may have taken during the 1980’s. We don’t wear leg warmers or leotards, we don’t wear headbands or things that sparkle. Group Fitness in 2008 is about focusing on your mind and your body with Yoga and Pilates and your heart with low impact exercises and strength and toning by using light weights. It’s about boot camps and challenging yourself to test your limits. So come out for an hour and make some new friends, strengthen and tone your body and have a darn good time. The only requirement is that you show up, you don’t have to be in shape to start, you just have to start. One more thing, the only thing 1980’s about the class is occasionally the music.
